All the rain and accompanying yard ponds have made lawn management difficult. We seem to be just a wet week away from yard frogs and turtles being augmented by yard bluegills and bass. There is growing talk of amphibious mowers among the men, but we still believe that a dry 3 or 4 days is all we need to lower lawn water levels so mowers will only need a tank of gas and a PFD to cut the grass. There's sill a ski run or two left in the season, but it would be wiser to get those runs in sooner rather than later. Later could get uncomfortably cold. Well...more uncomfortably cold.
