Prime Time
July 7th through 13th

Historically, the days in July are some of the best of the year for liquid lake and off lake recreation. This week did not disappoint.

Just off the lake, it was noted that local chipmonks are getting a little porky. There was talk of installing a teeny tiny defibrillator on the bar's deck. It was further suggested to install a teeny tiny gravy dispenser next to it if it fails to shock the furry back. You'll find forks in the kitchen.

The NCC is getting more deery than usual.

The NCC golf ball lies were more dreary than usual.

Ski shows are being held every Monday and Wednesday at Water's Edge. They are getting stronger as the Summer goes on.

Other less professional/more funny shows are held randomly over the entire surface of the lake on any given day. Cowabunga Dudes!

It has been a strong Summer so far. Currently, the lake temperature is up to 79℉. The lake level is just shy of 10.5 inches below the nail. The fire danger is low. There's half a tank of gas in the ski boat. That's all good. The predicted hot, wet weather will only make that better. Except for the gas level in the ski boat, that's going down.
