Summer Enumeration
June 30th through July 6th

Summer. In addition to the heat, rain and no snow shoveling there's the implied contract with the season to do as many things as possible before carving pumpkins. The listed items include...

Boating!

Sunsets! (Made redder by Canadian wildfires).

Ski Shows!

Raft tipping!
Radishes!

Parades!

We especially liked the Crandon Water Shows float partly because of the boat of many motors and the faux skiers but mostly because of the gorgeous red truck pulling the former.

In addition to all that stuff, this week also included the annual O'Keefe Triathlon. Swimming across the lake went well.
As did the following 5K-ish run.

The bike around the lake was also void of cramps and cardiac events.

The head count at the end of the race came close to the count at the start. Huzzah!

In addition to the subset of Summer items previously listed, there were also fireworks (10 points) , diving (2 points), bar nights (10 points), lawn mowing (usually 30 points), bike riding (2 to 10 points), floating (1 point), swimming (5 points), ski runs (3 points), ice-cream cones (2 points), campfires (2 points), and bitey bugs (1 pint/hour). Quantified enumerated lists: Your key to Summer fun! That and DEET.
