On Friday evening the wind started to die and the clouds rolled in. There was no chance of any comet spotting.

The lake continues to rise. It's now 13 inches above the nail with more rain coming.

The storms that started Friday late, ended around daybreak on Saturday.

Pier modification kicked off Saturday with the "Cutting of the Steel Nubs". 2 cutting disks later we gained 2 nubs that I hope to sell on eBay.

After the nubbing, piers were put in. The water is 50°F, very refreshing.

On our way out we came across 2 deer near West Shore Drive and W. We'll be back next weekend to try to get a good look at Q4 (comet NEAT).
