Bring Stuff Up Day

May 29th through 30th, 1998

The weather was nice when we arrived on Friday. That changed. Saturday was cool and rainy, but that did not dampen the spirits of the men. We were up to bring stuff and stuff was brought up. Landscaping timbers, plastic sheds, and other bric-a-brac were unloaded in the rain.

A new card table was added to the Knott Lane cabin. Future rainy days will be filled with sheepshead and bumper pool!

The new shed (Rubbermaid) was added to the dock complex after a "foundation" was hastily put together using some scrap wood. We had to leave just after unloading and building to get back to work. We'll be back next week to pull fish from the lake and test the waters for swimming. My guess is that there will be plenty of fish, but the water will not be ready.
