Last week's Monday morning cold hurt the mosquitoes. The little blood suckers are currently not so bad. That'll change, but for now, yay! The lake rose 2.5 inches during June. The drier weather so far should keep the lake level under (as opposed to over) most piers and make lawn mowing a less planned, more spontaneous event. The coming week's warmer weather and peak lake will seriously dent stocks of energy drinks and ibuprofen, but that's what they're there for.
