On Sunday, it was clear that the rain had moved on, leaving behind some colder air, leafless trees, and a deeper lake. Many, well...me anyway, are curious about the state of the lake level for October. The first part of the month was kind of dry and the last week was sort of wet. The lake currently looks a little higher than it was on the 1st of October. We'll measure it on the 1st of November to see how much higher. Pumpkin carving turned into one of the best events of the year. Thanks to everyone who came and made it such a great night. Looking forward, it's gonna get cold. And it looks like it's gonna stay cold. The Annual Ice-In Contest will be up sometime this week.
