Last week there was rain, heat, and the first ski show of the year. It's Summer! Time to hit the lake and, in some cases, have the lake hit back.
Rain. We got what seemed like a lot, but was only about 0.3 inches. The highest water for the year historically comes in late June. We need more rain. Preferably at night.
Synchronized crashing is an act that made a big splash. Two, really. We're still not sure why they needed trick skis for this, but we all agree that it will never get old.
There was no crashing during the assembly and display of the final pyramid. It went up and passed by as if they had done it before. Good job, guys! We'll release the knottlane code monkeys on the CW Shows site this week. Version 1.1 will be up and linked before the next show and will include the "Stone Cold Crash of the Century, of the Week".
Our front page has a new look. Currently we're determining the code monkeys dietary needs before pointing them at another site. You have to balance the bananas and energy drinks carefully. Too little, and there are lethargy based delays. Too much, and there's poo flinging mayhem. Nobody wants that. What everybody does want is for the lake to get up closer to the nail. There is rain in the forecast this week and we are confident that we will break the 10 inches below the nail mark by June's end. We are also hoping that the lake temperature breaks into the 70s°F soon. The current temperature of 69°F is better than 65°F, but not much.
