
It's best to think of Summer as a marathon. You stay less sore and broken that way. Historically, the lake level peaks at the end of June so that's more of a sprint to a higher lake for the next few weeks. Either way, we have miles to go and are loving every inch.

As the dash to the end of June continues, rain events of an inch or more are filling the lake. Inflows are rushing and rocks on the shore are slipping under.

The water, both old and new, is getting closer to 70 F. The fish are getting more active and swimming (5 points) is becoming more pleasant.

After almost 8 months of remission, the lake has tubers again. The good news is that they have not yet metastasizied to flat water days.
