In one of the structures at the LLAA's place, there is a picture of the lake from a plane. Over the years, we've seen reproductions of this image on other walls, curios and even placemats. Since knottlane got the drone it has been our mission to retake that image. Mission Accomplished (
Full resolution version here).! Yay. The new assignment is to get the same image during the middle of summer, at peak color in Fall, and peak snow in Winter. That, and maybe a top ten list of the cottage signs around the lake. We've always loved the "Skunks -n- Munks" sign, but there are several other really clever and well done placards out there. We'd also like to offer a hardy thank you to the several people we've met as of late and complemented us on one or more of the aspects of this site. As long as folks enjoy knottlane, we will continue to provide updates, contests and other data on beautiful Lake Lucerne, despite the snow and mosquitoes. Both of which we had this week. The snow didn't stick around much. The mosquitoes did, though. Having them on stage at the same time...that was a first.
