Extreme Southwestern Corner
October 14th through 20th
There was just under 2 inches of rain for the week. The lake is still going up. Huzzah!
To the miscreants that trenched the bar's front lawn: Boo!
As stated before, Mrs Nemo and I are attending the annual Knottlane board meeting and pool party in the extreme southwestern corner of the lake area. It seems that they have their own version of the old GIANT SWING here. Theirs is at least 2 feet higher than ours was.
The small lake here gets strangely rough every 15 minutes. The Crandon Water Shows people could put on a pretty cool show skiing around the rough.
The lake continues its Fall rise. Our elves have reported that the lake is now just under 20 inches below the nail. That's the best in a long time. Yay! Our docks are going under water. Yay, I guess. The lake temperature is holding at 54℉. Swimming is still possible but not recommended. It turns out that you can bet on football here in the extreme southwestern corner of the lake area. It was noted after Sunday's games (and some losing bets) that the Seahawks are not the team we saw in week 1.
