Back near the end of last week, when there was snow on the ground and ice-in was imminent, we were told to get some deer hunting stuff out of the woods. The stand in question was about 200 feet too far North of a very populated deer trail judging from the number of tracks in the snow.
A little further north, there's a private bridge over a currently dry creek. It was built by a few engineers some time ago. As I understand it, one of those guys became the Chief Engineer on the Marquette Interchange project a few months after they built this. That freeway project, through downtown Milwaukee, finished early and under budget, proving it's good to hire a man with experience.
