Middle of July Weekend

July 13th through 15th, 2007

The flowers and other greenery seem to be close to peak for the year. There be raspberries in them woods, sides of the roads, and behind the 4th tee. We found this item while SCUBA diving the northwestern part of the lake in about 20 feet of water. It looks like an old well drilling bit. If on the lake in the northeastern corner, you can now get the time from the bar by reading it from the 2 foot face of the new ATOMIC CLOCK. Accurate to about a billionth of a second in a million years, the ATOMIC CLOCK should assure that all fishermen make it to back for supper on time. The webcam had a power event on Saturday. The GFI switch was reset and it is fine as of this posting. New construction material has sprouted in front of the eastern house on the north end. Looks like a growing spurt soon. Siding and other exterior finishing, collectively known as house-bark, is growing on all sides of the western structure. It was extra hard leaving on Sunday. Partly because the weather was so good and partly because we won't be up next weekend. Mrs Nemo and I will be working at the OLGH booth at Festa Italiana this weekend (July 21 & 22 from 12:00 to 6:00). When we volunteered, it seemed like it could be fun to cook brats and serve hungry hoards. Now the weather on the lake looks great this weekend and a tinge of regret is haunting us, but we have promises to keep and brats to serve before we sleep...

-Nemo
