4th of July Weekend

Next »

July 3rd through 8th, 2007

Sunset on the 3rd was spectacular. Almost as good as making it up north for a long weekend. There was some rain on the 4th and some on the 8th, but the lake is still at a low for this century. Minus fifteen inches below the nail is not good. The weather all weekend was great. Very good for skiing. Some skied well, and we were mildly amused. Others pushed the envelope and we were greatly amused. Note to pictured skier: Keep you feet on the ski and the bottom of the ski facing the water. Bar nights included the magnificent Bailey's Comet. Some shots that had no name and for good reason. The raft had a "poor loading" incident. Those on the raft did not enjoy the event as much as those watching from shore. Construction at Timber Shores continues. The eastern house has most of its windows! The western house is closer to done. We'll be back, but not soon enough for me.

-Nemo
