Due to some pesty job requirements, we did not get up to the northwoods until just before sunset.
Saturday was one of those days that compels anyone on the lake to be active. The warm weather coupled with the calm water and plenty of sun added up to sore muscles on Sunday.
The featured shot on Saturday's bar night was the "Bailey's Comet". If you squint, it looks a little like a comet. Doesn't taste like a comet. Comets are cold, stony ice balls and the shot was quite warm with no rocks or pebbles.
Pontoon boats were observed heading south to join the boat parade just after noon on Sunday. We had to leave before the march made it to the north end of the lake.
The lake is 14 inches below the nail. We really need rain. Really really. Due to the shortness of the time we had up and maybe 1 to many Bailey's Comets I did not get any pictures of the construction on the north end. I'll get them this weekend for sure.
