The last week in July was a bit cooler and a bit wetter than this summer has been.
The O'Keefe triathlon was, to my surprise, held on a rainy Saturday morning. This was the only picture I got. There were no fatalities.
The rain finally found the lake. The last week in July had over 2 inches. The lake is still down 8 inches but the dropping has slowed.
The Wabikon-Riley channel now has enough water to allow boats into Riley. Lots of black files too.
During calm days, there was much skiing/footing.
The fans were amused.
Meg and I close on Planet's old bar on the 12th of August. The view is nice and the roof is metal.
Later in the week the temperatures went back up, forcing us to dive.
Didn't pull the flag under once. A new personal record.
The old boat in the northwest corner still needs work.
There was evidence of bottle rockets being launched during July.
Some of the old logs are pretty cool.
We'll be back Friday to re-install the webcam, backfill a bar wall, dive, ski and probably sleep a little too.
