Saturday was cloudy and windy. We arrived late and the clouds and cold seemed to hasten the start of sunset.
Rain. If you had to sum the weekend in one word that would be it, rain.
The wind did die, but the damp, cool weather was more Seattle-like than Wisconsinish.
The weather is really greening up the northwoods along with bringing that lake level up to "there is no longer a beach" type levels.
We left early after about 0.75 inches of rain fell on Monday and more was coming. The water is cold, the fish inactive and the weather wet. We are hoping for a turn in these elements when we come back in 10 days.
