During this week, the sun was up longer than any other time of the year (even if it was behind some clouds during some of the week.) In addition to a few clouds, that sun brought along with it 80s F, calm water, and more than a little sunburn.
Fishing has been great. Many fisher people reported their limit/fill.
The lake started at 65°F. After a week of 80°F days and 60°F nights, the lake temperature stood at 73°F. Back in Milwaukee, they got a 9 inch rainstorm. Good for them. It's a good thing we didn't get hit by all that rain. The lake level is pretty high and all that wet would have put just about every pier (and maybe a few cabins and islands!) underwater. The weather was so nice that, aside from a few corn runs, we never left the lake until it was time to head back to work.
