The golf course's mostly flat water hazards are starting to green up, too. Except for all the golf balls. They're mostly white.
The NCC coolers continue to be filled with cold, quality beer. Over the years, I've taken no small amount of abuse defending the virtures of Hamm's, but I will not relent. It continues to have the liquid nature and yellowness men demand in their beer. That, and those old little commercials, with their cartoon bears.
Sunday's temperature topped out at 47°F. There might have been frost this morning. The Summer of '25 was green, mostly flat, and short. I'm not sure why the summer was so truncated, but I'm pretty sure there was a squirrel involved. Looking back on the season, there should have been more skiing, footing, and a 4th of July. Maybe next year.
