The lake should be at the high water mark for the year soon. Rarely does the
lake level go up after June. If we continue to have weeks as wet as the last, this summer could be an exception. I don't think we'll see a record water level set for Lucerne this year. That'd require the lake to get a foot deeper. All the rain has lawns growing at an alarming rate. Mowings have to be scheduled between storms and after the lawn puddles have receded to levels that would not disappear lawn tractors. Mosquitoes are as bad as ever. This is June, so that's to be expected. Certainly not cherished or looked upon with any feelings of sentimental longing or wistful affection, but expected.
