Hot and Cold Week

Next »

October 23rd through 29th, 2017

There was snow last week. It didn't stick for long, but there was snow. There will be more. The crazy bird that has been roaming the sugarbush had an "accident" and is in hiding. He wasn't that hard to spot. That's him behind the onions. The plant's here in Southwestern Crandon are in full bloom. Especially the ones in the Bellagio's conservatory. The trees around the lake are mostly leafless, but the trees here are still holding onto their leaves. Lake Lucerne is 21 inches above the nail. The local lake here is 146 feet below its nail. The ice-in contest is filling up nicely. If the weather continues its cold-ward slide, the lake will freeze over earlier rather than later. Sorry for the quality of the lake pictures in this week's summary. They'll be better next week and less webcam-y.

-Nemo: Tanned, rested, not ready for Winter.
