Wabikon is frozen over and Silver Lake has ice fingers grasping out from the shore. Lake Lucerne is currently cold and clear as crystal, but largely ice free. On Silver lake, one fisherman was seen working the unfrozen half of the lake on Saturday. No boats were seen on Lucerne, let alone fishermen, all weekend. The hunters from our camp reported seeing several gray squirrels, a couple of golfers, a fisherman and plenty of wolf tracks, but no/few deer.
-Nemo, cold but largely ice free.
