Ski Boat in Weekend
May 20th through 22nd
Some of Saturday morning was spend under the lake leveling and stabilizing lifts.  A breeze from the south pushed warmer water north.  Some could argue that 55℉ water is not warm, but everything is relative.
Friday's sunset, best viewed from behind a drink and cigar, was one of the best of the year.  Sure, the water may be a bone chilling 46℉, but the air was warm and the evening light lasted almost until 9:00 PM.
And the trillium are working on taking over the forest floor.
As we toiled under the lake, dandelions continued to shout their intention to take over lawns on the north shore.
Lifts were ready by early afternoon and we were greeted at the landing by some lovely, well timed rain.  By evening, we had almost half an inch on the ground with more predicted on Saturday night.
No rain since last weekend has dented the inflows.  There was, at most, just a trickle flowing in on Saturday morning.
On Sunday morning, a check of the rain guage showed we never got that later rain.  Boo!
The golf course was packed early and mid Sunday.  Just as we finished the front nine, the sky cut loose with the rain we were supposed to get the night before.  After that,  the course became less packed.

We got almost 3/4 of an inch of rain Sunday evening.  Yeah!  Remember to pack the indoor games for Memorial Day weekend.  It's predicted to be wet.  And cool. (But what do those weathermen know, they were the ones that forecast a storm on Saturday night, the dryest night of the weekend.)  The fire danger is back to LOW and the fish have not found their way back to the cribs.
