The sunset on Friday was spectacular, as was the weather all weekend.
The hot weather was great for jet skiing...
Ski skiing...
Tubing...
Raft jumping...
and the odd north shore wedding.
There was even some rain at night (the best time for rain)! We need more.
I can't speak for the south end of the lake, but the north end saw swarms of dragon flies on and near the shore. The May flies are almost all gone. The mosquitoes are lite this year (so far).
The water temperature on the north end of the lake went from 67°F to 75°F and then back down to 68°F as the winds went from the north to the south and back from the north. The lake is down. Next weekend looks like a wet one. Let's hope so.
