The dump was visited on Sunday. I spent some time asking the guy that records your dump number about the burn pile. He stated that there was talk of ending the service. The trouble seems to be that some residents were putting tires in with their brush. As long as we remember to seperate our twigs and tires, I think we'll be fine.
Lite, blowing snow signaled it was time to flee the lake area. There is more than a trace amount on the ground. We measured 21.5 inches on the bar's deck. That should push the lake up an inch or two. We need more snow/rain.
The lake golf season was postponed for 2 weeks due to deep snow on the north end of the lake. I don't know about you, but I'm getting tired of the cold, the ice, the snow, and puting on pounds of clothes to shovel the bar's deck. And shoveling the bar's deck. I really miss the grass. Not really cutting it, but seeing it and walking barefoot on it. February will be in the rear view mirror and spring will be 2 weeks closer the next time we're up.
