| A Father and Son were fishing on the north end of the lake on Sunday morning. They noticed a Forest County Sheriff on the shoreline and assisted the officer by giving him a ride to check out a suspicious item in the lake. | ||||||||||||||||||||||
| The sheriff's boat soon arrived. | ||||||||||||||||||||||

| A resident spoke to the Washington County Sheriff Monday. There was some speculation that the vehicle may be the one involved in a drive-by shooting in Slinger. Later it was found to be a boyfriend/girlfriend break-up situation. The angry party took the vehicle, put a stick between the accelerator pedal and the seat and let it go into the lake. Special thanks to the family on west shore drive that sent me the story and pictures. |
