| First Weekend in Fall September 23rd through 24th |

| Friday evening was cool, the sky was blue and the wind lite. |
| Late season plants were all over any open area. They were particularly abundant in yards that really needed a mowing. |
| Suprisingly, peak color seems about a week away. |
| There were trees that were well into the color thing but, for the most part, green was the predominant color. |

| Some chose to not go quietly into fall and skied on the rough and cool water. Most just pulled out boats for winter storage. |
| The waves picked up and the skies clouded over late in the afternoon. Much needed rain fell most of Sunday and into Monday. We'll be back in 2 weeks to see if the wet weather has had any positive effect on the lake level. |
