| We came up to fix the live feature for the webcam and put in some piers. The forecast for rain on Friday was very accurate. except for the rain part.. |
| The rain predicted for Saturday was also not. The air is getting warmer (no snow or sleet) and the water is pushing 50 F. |
| While the water was warmer it was still brisk. We don't seem to be the only ones who have piers in so there must be several other people who can attest to the refreshing nature of the lake this time of year. |
| Despite the discrepancy between the predicted rain (lots) and the actual rain (none), the lake level is holding at 9 inches above the nail. |
| We had to leave after first making the webcam much worse and then bringing it back to the same state it was in before attempting to fix it. I fear the problem may lead me to contact the chimps at frontiernet (our ISP). My plan is to get their assistance by bribing them with bananas and the promise of a role in the upcoming "Lancelot Link" feature film. If you are up next weekend and see me covered with flung poo, assume it did not go well. |
