June 7th through 11th, 2002

The weather was the best. Temperatures were in the 70's and 80's. It was cloudy on some days but then it also was humid. The trillums are starting to fade... Ferns! We did see some large summertime clouds that provided some storms at night. Dean enjoys the great taste of Krispa's for breakfast. Soon we will need a new shooting can. Meg likes to dive. Meg: "I like to dive". At one point we decided to strap on a tank and see what was up in the deeper water. Not much, but we did come upon the most unfrisky crayfish ever. The Rhinelander Logging Museum was a good place to use black & white image captures. The one on the right is the model of LeSabre 1 or 2 years older than Dean's. After a hard day at the museum the Rhinelander Pub and Cafe's streak was virtuous. This cow was clearly a virgin. The lake continues to rise! The ruler ends at 22.5 inches making the lake 5.5 inches above the nail. The loons are back, eatin' fish by day and hauntingly warbling about it in the evening. The water was a little cool but tolerable. It'll be better next week

-Nemo plans on more "bottom time" next week
