We were told that the ice was pulled off the shore about 10 feet. When we got there on Friday this is what we found!
The ice that was left was thin and fused together.
Smashing ice sheets together still proved to be fun.
The ice was only 1 inch thick.
We paddled over to the rocks to see if the fish returned.
No fish, but the water was very clear and very cold (44°F).
I keep my hand in for 12 seconds! I believe this to be the new 44°F Lake Lucerne record.
Grant's had a little damage.
The lake is only 2" below the nail!
